Sunil Mohindra

Senior partner Sunil Mohindra came to England from Kenya with his family over forty years ago.

Sunil graduated from Imperial College London with an Honours degree in Physics in 1976, then in 1980 qualified as a solicitor, initially working in general practice. Whilst in general practice, Sunil also qualified as an insurance broker and was a partner in his father’s insurance broking business. Sunil was recently awarded the title of Chartered Insurance Practitioner.

Sunil has taken part in numerous DTI and other trade delegations and over the years has established a large network of overseas contacts, particularly in India.

Sunil’s work has been focussed on commercial transactions including banking, mergers and acquisitions and cross-border transactions especially between the UK and India.

Sunil has always been heavily involved in voluntary work. He is a Council member of Manchester Law Society and has been Chair, Deputy Chair or a Committee Member of numerous organisations.

Sunil is currently President of TiE Manchester and is a member of TiE Global’s Chapter Support Development Committee. TiE is a global networking organisation for entrepreneurs established to mentor, educate and support entrepreneurs worldwide (www.tie.org).”
